We offer an after-sales service to help you check whether your product warranty is still valid and find the best solution so you can enjoy your purchase again.
WHEN CAN YOU MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM?
Products may develop faults through use. Some result from normal wear and tear. Others are due to improper use or inadequate maintenance and are therefore not covered by the warranty.
EXCLUSIONS
The statutory after-sales warranty does not apply if:
- You knew about the defect when you bought the product.
- The defect could not reasonably have been overlooked at the time of purchase, for example if the seller had informed you about it.
- The defect results from other materials you used or supplied, for example a battery that is incompatible with your GPS.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, improper handling, failure to follow assembly instructions, or defects and faults caused by collisions, impacts or falls.
The main exclusions include:
- Replacement of consumables and wear parts.
- Improper use of products.
- Consequences of using a product for a purpose other than that for which it was designed, including use unsuitable for the cycling discipline.
- Defects and their consequences caused by intervention by the buyer, a repairer or external factors.
- Damage specifically excluded in the product descriptions.
- Failure to carry out maintenance, or inadequate maintenance.
ADVICE: Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions in the assembly manual or on the brand’s website.
BICYCLE WARRANTY PERIOD
All bicycles have a minimum two-year warranty on the frame and components for the original purchaser.
Some brands go beyond the statutory period and offer specific or longer warranty periods.
